I was looking for ideas for winter photography, and I found Thomas Heaton. The first video has some composition ideas for frosty cold landscapes. The second video is a photo shoot where he is shooting a sunrise with snow, and demonstrating the effects of a polarizing filter. Winter is a challenge, because the days are short. You leave for work in the dark, and it’s dark when you get home. So shooting time is much more limited. I’m always looking for ideas for shots when I can finally get out with my camera.
